Beit Issie Shapiro is committed to raising public awareness and promoting community involvement and aims is to establish a humane and responsible society which respects the rights and sensitivities of individuals with special needs.

The Lucie Shapiro Community & Family Outreach Program includes:

• Youth Leadership Development
• Social Advocacy, Mediation and Empowerment
• Volunteerism
• First accessible and inclusive park in Israel
• Adult Social Club - Social and recreational activities for young adults with intellectual disabilities, including yoga, sports, aquatherapy, cooking and music.
• The Lubner Child & Family Therapy Center - Support, counseling, and family therapy for families of children of all ages, with disabilities. 

The Family Advancement Center

Assists Israeli Arabs families with children with disabilities to receive needed support and information. Provides information about rights, education, emotional and social support, parental empowerment.
